TRAX Tracking Number Format & Verification Guide

How to find your TRAX number, read the label, tell it apart from a shop order number, and fix "invalid number" errors.

What a TRAX tracking number looks like

Every parcel that TRAX Online Logistics handles gets an airway bill (AWB) or tracking number. In TRAX’s system, that number links the delivery address, the parcel weight and any Cash on Delivery (COD) amount to one barcode.

What to expect from a TRAX number:

Character Length

TRAX does not publish a fixed length for its numbers, so copy the whole code exactly as it appears on your SMS or receipt.

Character Composition

The number is made of digits, or of capital letters and digits, with no spaces or symbols.

Barcode Symbology

The same number is printed as a barcode on the parcel label, so hubs can scan it quickly.

System Prefix

Numbers from different shops or branches may start differently. That is normal, so type the full code rather than guessing.

Where to find your TRAX tracking number

Whether you are receiving an online order or sending a parcel yourself, the number appears in one of these places:

Automated SMS Message

Once your order is booked, TRAX or the shop texts your phone with the tracking number.

Email Shipping Confirmation

Big online shops send a dispatch email, and the tracking number is shown next to your order summary.

Physical Shipping Label

On the parcel’s plastic flyer or sticker, the number is printed in bold under the barcode.

Note on Tracking Interfaces: TRAX links and status pages may also show the Sonic name (sonic.pk). It is the same TRAX service.

Shop order number or TRAX tracking number?

Many shoppers type their shop order number instead of the courier’s tracking number. They are two different things:

Internal Store Reference

E-Commerce Order ID

For example #10482, ORD-9921 or a Shopify order ID. The shop’s website creates it, and only the shop can look it up. TRAX cannot find a parcel with it.

Logistics Identifier

TRAX Consignment Number

Created when the shop books the parcel with TRAX. Every TRAX hub, branch and rider can scan it.

Keep your TRAX number private

Your tracking number leads straight to your delivery details, so treat it like private information:

Do not post your full tracking number or a photo of the barcode on social media when you ask for help.
We only use the tracking number you type to look up your parcel.
Share it only with people who may receive the parcel for you, such as family at home.

When TRAX says the number is invalid

If our tracker cannot find your number, check these things before you ask for help:

1. Remove extra spaces or dots

When you copy from WhatsApp or an SMS, a space, a full stop or quote marks can come with it. Enter only the letters and numbers.

2. Give it time after booking

Shops often print the label hours before TRAX collects the parcel. If your number is new, wait until the parcel has been picked up and scanned, then try again.

3. Confirm With Merchant

If the number still does not work after a day, ask the shop to confirm that the parcel was actually handed to TRAX.
