Step-by-Step Logistics Tutorial

How to Track TRAX Shipments Online

Find your TRAX number, check your parcel in a few seconds and read each update with confidence.

How TRAX tracking works

TRAX Online Logistics delivers parcels for online stores, businesses and people sending their own packages. Its tracking also appears under the Sonic name (sonic.pk). When a parcel is booked it gets a tracking number, and every scan on its way, at pickup, at a hub and at your door, is saved against that number.

With the number you can see how far your parcel has come, check that the seller has actually sent it, and know when to keep the cash ready for a Cash on Delivery (COD) order. If something goes wrong, the scan history also shows who had the parcel and when.

Where to find your TRAX tracking number

The number you need is the courier’s tracking number, not the order number from the shop. It usually reaches you in one of these ways:

Automated Dispatch SMS

Right after booking, TRAX or Sonic texts the buyer’s phone with the tracking number and the order amount.

Order Confirmation Email

Some shops also email a shipping notice. Search it for "Courier Consignment Note" or "Tracking Code".

Paper Consignment Receipt

If you sent the parcel from a TRAX counter, the number is printed below the barcode on your copy of the receipt.

Still unsure which number to use? See the TRAX Tracking Number Guide.

Step-by-Step Tracking Instructions

1

Copy the number carefully

Take the number from the SMS or receipt and paste it without spaces, dots or quote marks. TRAX numbers are letters and numbers only.

2

Go to a tracking box

Use the box on this site, or TRAX’s own tracking page on sonic.pk.

3

Paste it and press search

Paste the number, check that it matches your SMS, and press the search button.

4

Review Milestone Progression

Read the list of updates, newest first. Look at the latest status and the city it was scanned in. If you see a problem status, our help guides explain what to do next.

What the TRAX scans mean

A new line appears in the tracking history each time the parcel changes hands or passes through a hub. The main steps are:

Booked / Data Received

The shop has booked the parcel with TRAX. It is waiting to be collected on the next pickup round.

In Transit / Linehaul

The parcel has been sorted at the first hub and is travelling by road to your city.

Out for Delivery

The parcel is at your local TRAX branch and a rider is bringing it to you.

Delivered / Handover Complete

You have received the parcel, COD cash has been paid if needed, and tracking is finished.

For every TRAX status in plain words, see our Status Meanings Directory.

Tips for a smooth delivery

A little preparation helps the rider find you on the first try and stops your parcel going back to the seller:

Keep Your Telephone Available

Riders often call before they reach you. Pick up quickly so the visit is not marked as a failed attempt.

Prepare Exact Cash Amounts

For a COD parcel, keep the exact cash ready, because riders carry only a little change.

Provide Recognizable Landmarks

If house numbers in your area are confusing, give a nearby landmark such as a mosque, school or market.

Authorize Alternate Handover

If you will be out, ask a family member, colleague or guard to take the parcel and pay any COD amount.

Questions about tracking updates

Updates are not live. A new line only appears when the parcel is scanned at a TRAX hub or branch, so the status can stay the same while the parcel is on the road between cities.

If nothing has changed for two working days, read our Tracking Not Updating Guide or contact customer support via our TRAX Helpline Directory.
