TRAX Tracking by Tracking Number: What Actually Works
The lookup depends entirely on one code, no matter which of the two brand names is on your receipt.
The Sonic Complication, and Why It Doesn't Actually Matter
TRAX's tracking service is co-branded as Sonic (sonic.pk) on some booking flows, sharing the same corporate helpline and the same underlying database. That means a dispatch SMS from "Sonic" and one from "TRAX" can both resolve here, using exactly the same AWB code. The brand name on your receipt tells you nothing about which system to search, because there's only one system either way.
What Won't Work, and Why People Try It Anyway
A store order ID makes sense to try first, since it's usually the most prominent number on an order confirmation email; it just doesn't work, because it identifies your purchase to the seller's system, not your parcel to TRAX's. An invoice or payment reference has the same problem in reverse: real and useful, just for a refund conversation with the seller rather than a courier lookup. Your own phone number seems like it should work, since it's exactly what the rider calls, but the tracker searches by AWB, not by the number stored against it. And a name, sender or recipient, was never going to work at all; public tracking systems avoid name-based lookup specifically for privacy reasons.
Lost the AWB Entirely? Here's the Fastest Way Back to It
Search your messages for either "TRAX" or "Sonic", since the dispatch SMS could have come from either sender name. Check your shipping confirmation email next, and the printed receipt if this was booked in person. If none of those turn it up, the seller can pull the AWB from their own order record faster than any workaround on this end.
